UPDATE: Silent Knight offers a free stream of "Busy Is My Best Friend II," which features Soul Khan, Homeboy Sandman and Rasheed Chappell.

2012 DXNext alum, Silent Knight is readying the release of his fourth album, Busy Is My Best Friend II. Featuring production by !llmind, DJ K.O., Audible Doctor, J57, and guest appearances including Homeboy Sandman, Rasheed Chappell, Soul Khan, YC The Cynic and MadKem—Busy Is My Best Friend II is the follow up to the New Jersey-resident’s critically praised 2011 LP, Busy Is My Best Friend.   

Silent Knight describes this release as his “transition album.” “Busy Is My Best Friend II is me getting it out of my system,” he said in a statement to HipHopDX. “The time period of not just working non-stop, but moving non-stop, being exhausted mentally and physically [has passed]. Not to say it’s still not about working hard and staying busy, but it’s about working smart.”  

Silent Knight released his debut album, Hunger Strike in 2007 on Rawkus Records as part of the independent label’s Rawkus 50 digital campaign. Busy Is My Best Friend II is released on Elementality Records and available for purchase on April 9.

A who's who of Cash Money Records stars, Rick Ross, Diddy and Bad Boy Records' current roster appear on French Montana's "Excuse My French" debut.

With less than six weeks to go, final details are surfacing on the contents of French Montana's debut album, Excuse My French. The Bad Boy/Maybach Music Group/Interscope Records artist's album is coming May 21. HipHop-N-More has confirmed the artwork and tracklisting.

Guests include longtime affiliates and mentors Diddy and Rick Ross, along with frequent collaborators Lil Wayne, Drake, and 2 Chainz. Bad Boy label-mates MGK, Los and Red Cafe also appear on album closer, "Ocho Cinco."

Homeboy Sandman pays his respects to Hip Hop's Godfather Kool Herc with a new EP chock fulla samples and 1970s B-Boy bravado.

Stones Throw Records has announced that Homeboy Sandman will release his fourth project in less than two years with the storied Los Angeles, California area label. On April 16, the Queens, New York emcee will release Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent, an album he first discussed in fall of 2011. The eight-song EP takes its name from Hip Hop's credited founder, DJ Kool Herc. Maintaining the concept, the follow-up to 2012's First Of A Living Breed full-length is heavy on samples, ranging from R&B to Classic Rock to World.

The tracklisting to Homeboy Sandman's Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent is as follows:

UPDATE: Prodigy's management provides proper tracklist, which features Roc Marciano, Action Bronson and Havoc, in addition to Raekwon and Domo Genesis on Prodigy & Alchemist's "Albert Einstein."

Following news earlier this week of an exclusive instrumental album made for inmates with SendAPackage.com, Mobb Deep's Prodigy and longtime musical partner and Mobb affiliate Alchemist have announced details concerning Albert Einstein. The follow-up to 2007's Return Of The Mac, the Queens, New York-meets-Beverly Hills, California duo will release June 11 on Infamous Records.

According to HipHop-N-More's tracklist posting, guests will include Odd Future's Domo Genesis and Wu-Tang Clan co-founder Raekwon.
